    Hi,

I just upgraded my Qosmio G35 AV660 to Windows 7 64bit and I can't find the proper nvidia display driver for it. When I try to download the driver from Toshiba, it says it is only compatible with Vista. Does anybody know where I can download the proper driver?

    Thanks

well you can try to run the installer in compatibility mode for (Vista SP1) or you can just go to the Nvidia website and download the drivers from there. but try the first option before you go to the website

It's not a good idea to install drivers in compatibility mode, even if it works sometimes. Especially if they are 32bit drivers on a 64bit system.

Usually nvidia (or AMD) drivers are properly working and sometimes provide better performance and compatibility than Toshiba's (or whatever OEM) drivers can. Unless OEMs are using modified versions of reference drivers in order to provide you with extra things.
