    Hello everyone,

I am strongly considering buying the Qosmio G45 in the US (I am Canadian, and up here only the inferior G40 is available).

One of the make-or-break features for me is the external USB HDTV tuner that comes with the unit, but nowhere can I find its description.

Can anyone tell me what inputs are present on it (more specifically, does it have a HDMI input)? Pictures would be great, but obviously not essential.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeeps

I believe it only lets you watch over the air HDTV and analog tv. It does not have HDMI input, component input, etc. It may have S-video in and composite in but No HDMI in, Component in definately.

If is the same one that comes with the X205 I'd pass. I wasn't really impressed. It only records OTA HD signals and then has composite/Coax for analog. I'm gonna sell mine and stick with my Expresscard analog tuner.

    Thanks to you both.

Guess I'll wait and see what the XPS 1730 has to offer before I take the plunge...
