    Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone here has updated their Display drivers using any of the Toshiba drivers listed on their "All Products" Driver content page.
    Model Content Page

What I'm trying to say is, Toshiba has a Nvidia v268.51 driver that was released in May, but it isn't listed for the Qosmios; BUT it is a Toshiba Nvidia driver. I am wondering if my Qosmio can use these drivers.

Has anyone used generic Toshiba drivers for their laptop with success?

Thanks and looking forward to input. :D

I practically forgot about the Toshiba website, I recently went straight to the Nvida site and loaded their latest driver 275.33, which was releast
6/1/2011. It works perfectly for me so far.

I get my drivers directly from nVidia. Toshiba is behind the times.

    Thanks for the replies :D

I had a few other questions:

When running nvidia drivers, do you have any instability issues? BSODs? computers crashes when waking from sleep; GPU issues.

Also, what steps do you use to install nvidia driver? Do you use a driver cleaner and if so which one? Do you install in Safe Mode or Normal mode?

    Thanks :)

I have had zero problems from the drivers, I've downloaded from Nvidia.

When I install the driver, I choose custom install, that enables me to check the little box which results in the driver removing the old driver before inserting the new driver (clean install).

I do this in normal mode.

I have a Q-894 and have downloaded all the Driver Updates direct from the Nvidia Control Panel and have had no problems what so ever. I'm using the 275.33 Drivers
