I have now a satellite pro A100 and its overheating. All the toshibas (satellite and satellite pro mainly) i've ever tried have a problem of over heating.
Does Qosmio have the same problem? I want to buy the new Qosmio F55 (or F50) when it is released but i fear the overheating since i play games especially wow a lot.

Also where is this processor coming with the new qosmio fits "Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor P7350"?
Is it better than T9300 and T9500 or worse?

I have also been wondering the same thing. This is the first time I have ever considered buying a toshiba. I know the processer is the new p9400 processor which is very powerful with 2.53Ghz, 1066FSB, and of course, dual core!

Yop, the cpu is a t, that means it is less gentle to the battery as p type cpu, other than that they are the same in terms of power, and it is definately better than the p7350 one.

I had no problems with Qosmio F45-AV413 until I upgraded the BIOS to version 1.90 (a couple of days ago) when I had overheating two times.

So, if you have an older BIOS version, overheating IS NOT a problem with Qosmio. The laptop remains almost cool even when I make video format conversion.

The laptop is wonderful and personally I recommend it you everyone. But I will be careful before upgrading anything in it!
