I have now a satellite pro A100 and its overheating. All the toshibas (satellite and satellite pro mainly) i've ever tried have a problem of over heating.
Does Qosmio have the same problem? I want to buy the new Qosmio F55 (or F50) when it is released but i fear the overheating since i play games especially wow a lot.
Also where is this processor coming with the new qosmio fits "Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor P7350"?
Is it better than T9300 and T9500 or worse?

I have also been wondering the same thing. This is the first time I have ever considered buying a toshiba. I know the processer is the new p9400 processor which is very powerful with 2.53Ghz, 1066FSB, and of course, dual core!

Yop, the cpu is a t, that means it is less gentle to the battery as p type cpu, other than that they are the same in terms of power, and it is definately better than the p7350 one.

i had a f25 and it use to heat up real quick but thats like 3 years old so i cant say because my cousin just bought a satellite with a AMD turion ultra X2 and its pretty damn quiet even under heavy use and overheating wasnt as issue during gaming too

Same thing with G35 but nothing serious (only at rear end where is exhaust)...

I had no problems with Qosmio F45-AV413 until I upgraded the BIOS to version 1.90 (a couple of days ago) when I had overheating two times.
So, if you have an older BIOS version, overheating IS NOT a problem with Qosmio. The laptop remains almost cool even when I make video format conversion.
The laptop is wonderful and personally I recommend it you everyone. But I will be careful before upgrading anything in it!
