Greetings, new to the forum, etc. etc.

I'm researching the Qosmio with an eye towards buying it down the road.

But I'm confused about the TV tuner features. I read a few reviews that have talked about an "internal antenna" that left me with the impression I can turn the computer on and get over-the-air television channels from the computer's internal antenna without hooking it up to anything at all.

However, in reading through the actual Qosmio product manual, it says nothing about an internal antenna and only talks about hooking up the computer to an external TV antenna.

I'm assuming the manual is correct, but I'd like a definitive word: is there an internal antenna that allows TV viewing without hooking the machine to anything in the Qosmio line or not?

    Thanks for your help.

you should have corrected yourself and said no internal tv antenna.. not tuner.. it has a tuner as thats one of the advertising points all the places do.. its internal vs all other companys external tuners
