Just bought the X305-701 on Sunday at my local Best Buy.
    This thing is huge!

Quick Pros / Cons so far

    Pros:
Awesome Speakers, Overall good performance (Ran Bioshock and Oblivion with no hitches), Great Thermal properties (Runs very cool underneath), Bright Screen, can be set up with Vista 32 or 64bit on first boot up, Single HDD partition!!
    Cons:
Bulky packaging, artistic "RAD GAMER FLAMEZ OMG!" style is not for everyone, glossy keyboard is not good for typing, rough touchpad is already removing my fingerprints from my index finger :), oh yeah No backup disks! I have to burn my own

No updates other than I decided to not return the QOS, seems to run all my 3D animation applications well. Some have issues with Vista Aero, but thats not the fault of the laptop itself.
