Ok. I ordered the 896 from amazon a few days ago, and have been patiently waiting for it to arrive in the next week or so. I have been looking through this forum for a bit now, especially the 893 review on the first page (excellent article by the way, kudos to the member that wrote it).

Basically my question involves the SSD. In the article, it states that the secondary HDD bay includes all necessary connectors for another hard drive. This was an issue in some earlier models, with a useless bay. Is anyone aware on whether this new "feature"(having the bay functional) is present in the 896 as well, and all other 890+ models (i know the 898 and 890 actually have the SSD)

    Thanks
    DJM

If the Q893 has the secondary HDD bay, odds are pretty good the Q896 would too. I'd bet money on it.

I agree. I am quite sure that if I have a functional bay on my lappy that of course the 896 will.

    Thanks! ;)
