I'm pretty sure I want this laptop. It has a lot of great features, most of which are perfect for me. I want this laptop mainly for gaming and even though the GPU isn't the best out there it is definitely considered high-end and would easily be able to handle all the games I play at max. (or close to it).
Here is my game list:
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Dragon Age: Origins, Fable, Star Wars Galaxies, Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars Republic Commando, Doom III, KOTOR I and II, The Old Republic (when released), Diablo II, Diablo III (when released), AVP (the Remake), Warcraft III and World of Warcraft.
What do you guys think? Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I have heard from a lot of different people that the GTS 250M is a great GPU and that people don't give it enough credit. I looked up mobile GPU's and even though it is in the first class group it is at the bottom of that list :/
-
What is the problem?
For games you've mentioned second class is enough actually (not in Full HD though of course)
You never mentioned you need fastest GPU possible. Above 250M available solutions will start getting quite big and hot. -
I would probably recommend the Asus G51J, Clevo W860C, or the Clevo W870CU over this. You should definitely have a look into them.

What about the new Asus G72x? That has a lot of features that I like. I want blu-ray plus gaming and as you can see the games that I play aren't crazy demanding games like Crysis. With the Asus G72x I could get a minium quad core CPU and eventually upgrade to an extreme quad core with the GTX 260m GPU that would outclass the Toshiba.

Yeah it is true. Especially in CPU demanding games like World in Conflict.

W870CU (or same Sager if it matters) has a visibly smaller screen though (comparing to X505)
It's same aspect (16:9), but more than inch less in diagonal size.
Also its quite noisy. -
-
Of course it does. I don't chase FPS number, so at some point GPU power is enough for good gameplay and I dont need extra fan noise (it's very annoying).
And what use extra pixels if they squished to smaller screen size? It places strain on my eyes on prolonged time. I have grew used to 18.4 inch screen and now I am very reluctant to reduce
In any case, I think we already veered way too much - after all, there is a proper forum for threads like this and its named "Which notebook should I buy". -

What is the difference between the Sager NP9820 and the Sager NP8760?

If you want to continue discussing the difference between the NP9280 and the NP8760, it would probably be better off in the Clevo section of the forum.
