    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anybody succeeded in upgrading GPU in x770/x870 till now?
I came across x770 with 3D (EDP) screen very cheaply, unfortunately laptop doesn't support UEFI so probably max upgrade would be 980m, but my question is if anybody managed to build custom BIOS to accept other cards?

    Thanks

Would love to know if this is possible too. Even a GTX 660m would do wonders. I just picked up an x775 with a (confirmed) dying 560m. This card is rare as all hell and very expensive. I don't feel comfortable paying $200 for a used timebomb of a card especially one this old.

As for the original card, it appears to be a standard MXM GTX 560m, so I think flashing the VBIOS from it onto a Alienware/Clevo one might result in those versions of the card working in this system. After all, it does have a ROM chip on the card. The Alienware/Clevo ones are far more common and much cheaper.
