    Hi,

I have buyed a X770 laptop with a broken screen.
Looking online for a replacement was easy and order a replacment screen but without success.

    LCD's alreadt tryed:
    LTN173HT02
    LTN173KT02

The original screen is LTN173KT02-801 (but I'm not sure anymore).

I soon found out that this laptop has a rare 40pin LVDS pin assignment or the the seller of the laptop must have swapping the wrong lvds cable and don't told me about it (can't say for shure).

Anyway I did some reverse engineering and traced all the pin assignment lines from one connector to the other and her are the results:

Can anybody help me to get the right screen for this laptop ?

Thank you for this information !

I have buyed this laptop second hand with a broken screen.
The bezzel screws around the screen where missing so I guess the seller did try to repair it.
Mabe he screw around with some parts and use a defferent LVDS cable or so, who knows !?!?
When I asked him about it his response was, it was not his laptop (DUH).

So I'm gona buy a salvage LVDS cable somewhere so I can compare and verify the connections.
There is no other option I guess because I mailed Toshiba and asked the part numbers of the LVDS and LCD screen but till today they did not respond.

I will post an update here if I get any information on this.

After some more digging I found out that these screens will fits the X770 :

    LTN173HT02-T01
    LTN173HT02-C01
    LTN173HT02-X01

Although I can not find any information on the 120hz refresh rate.
