So I got this laptop the other day (traded a slower alienware for it and more than satisfied haha =) )
Restored to factory settings with a USB recovery the guy made from the original settings.
Uninstalled a ton of bloatware but kept most of the Toshiba stuff.
Now the only problem I have had at all so far is the wifi is "randomly" shutting off. All I have to do to reactivate it is hit the wireless button above the keyboard, but that's still an annoyance that should not have to happen.. It's annoying to open chrome and see "cannot open webpage".

Now, as to why "randomly" is in quotes is I am not sitting there watching it and seeing after 20 seconds - AHA! IT WENT OFF! but rather I use the laptop for 10 minutes then go back to my desktop... look back at the notebook and it seems to have gone off.. Now, I can not test this theory, but it seems like it is usually happening when I close the laptop lid (I have it set so that closing the laptop lid does nothing when the laptop is plugged in because often I set my laptop to download overnight and it sits on the table across from me, on, but closed so I'm not blind.

I have noticed for 100% sure though that after shutting down and turning the laptop back on, wifi is always disabled and have to hit that button. It's like it almost seems like there is some boot setting or something that is telling it not to turn on wifi at boot.

All power-save settings are off because... well I never really use this thing on battery. So I'm not sure why the wifi is going off all the time.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys ^_^

That's a tough one. Only thing I can recommend is to check your Toshiba Support page for your specific laptop, to verify whether there are any updated drivers for your WIFI card.
From the below link, hit the "Product Support" button in the following page, and fill in your model specifications.
    Toshiba Support - Homepage

    Good luck

    sounds like a driver issue.
