You can do this by connecting one end of an S-Video cable to the notebook, and the other end into the television. Set the input of the television, so it takes its signal from the S-Video connector. Then, go to Display Properties, under Control Panel, on the notebook, select the Settings tab, and click on the second monitor that should be presen in the box. Then select "Extend my Windows desktop onto to this monitor". That should get the S-Video in the notebook to send its signal to the television.

cant i directly connect the ps2 to the laptop without tv ???
Since the laptop has an svideo IN seperately ??
I am not too sure but isn't that the procedure for getting the s video out to work -
Yes, you could do that. I am not absolutely familiar with the Qosmio, but that connecotr may not be to input the signal onto the screen of the notebook. Anyway, have a try and see if it works.
Sorry, I misread your fist post, and yes, it is the procedure for getting the signal to a television. -
Thanks anyway i have no idea how to get the screen to display the signal from the ps2 .
Anyone else please help !!! -

Are you SURE it's an INPUT and not an OUTPUT. IIRC the G35 only has S-Video out and not in.
Alternatively you can use the RCA input, which I know the Qosmio has.
