This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Been on the hunt for a laptop and I keep ending up back at best buy

    I first saw an Asus but read if I purchase an Asus at best buy I can't get an extended warranty through Asus, I am forced to use best buys or nothing

    I was wondering if Toshiba is the same way? It comes with the standard 1 year but I would like to purchase the second year on Toshibas site and not have to pay 150 for best buys 2 year warranty
