Hey guys, about to buy an L745D, and I was wondering, does Toshiba allow non-OEM graphics drivers to be installed? I know some manufacturers only allow their own drivers to be installed. The model in question is an AMD based Llano model.

I would only use Toshiba drivers. People have had success installing AMD/nvidia drviers, but could run into problems.

    Good luck

You have nothing to lose other than some of your time by trying an alternate driver. I would strongly recommend you have copies of the installer for both your intended new driver AND your existing driver before you try it. You should also ideally do a full image backup, and at a minimum create a System Restore point before you start.

Never take a step forward without also being able to take a step backward.
