I have an A300/A305 with a built in 5 in 1 card reader (running Vista). It doesn't seem to play well with my High Capacity 8 GB SD card. Basically, the reader can't read / copy everything on the card. In talking to a tech at a repair shop they said I need drivers to handle a High Capacity SD Card. Does anyone know about this? Where can I locate the drivers? Has anyone with an A305 used anything bigger than a 2 GB SD card? My 2 GB card worked fine, but not my 8 GB.

I think there is another thread about this somewhere... but i doubt the reader on your laptop supports the new HCSD cards and i havent heard of any drivers that can enable support for this new card. I have an X-205 and my reader also doesnt support HDSD. But you can get an adapter for pretty cheap (somehwhere around $10 or $20). i believe the adapters are HCSD to USB 2.0.
