    Despite the fact that the Toshiba site says that the slim dock comes with USB 1.1, I have read that the slimdock actually has USB 2.0 ports. Can anyone comment on this?

    I'm pretty sure the 1.1 was just a typo. This is a newer dock designed for the R100 & 2000 series Protege's & since the notebooks themselves are USB 2.0, it'll just be silly to have USB 1.1 on the dock.
