    R835-P56x Ethernet Issue

    My wifi works fine but I'm unable to plug a ethernet cable in, under my network adapters there isn't a wired adapter. I tried downloading from toshiba but it says no hardware is found. That's all I know so I'm hoping you guys know more than me.

    Are you running Windows 7 or Windows 8 BETA ? If your on 8, you may have to revert back to 7.

    Make sure the above is disabled.


    This thread hints that reseating the ram [removing and reinsert] might work.

    Also, make sure your not in "Eco Mode".
