    Hi,
First post here, I tried to search, but can't seem to find the vbulletins search button only the one at the top left but that doesn't search in the toshiba section..

Anyways, I wanted to know if the X205 can be raid'ed?
I can't seem to find any infor about raid on the x205 or ICH8M Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 2850

If you know how, or if it even can be done, please advise. :)

    P.S. Looking to either RAID-0 or RAID-1

i don't think it's the drives, it's the controller that doesn't support it correct? As I've replaced both drives with 7200 Hitatchi's, and there are still no options I've seen for any RAID support.

Yeah it is the controller that lacks the support. A side note, I am now using my new XPS M1730 and it is a beast, I am trying to sell my S9349 to a friend and my sli1 will then go to my son so he enjoy that as I don't really want to get rid of it.

As I can see you fully updated your laptop incl.processor. My sli1 is on its way to me I have to wait 3 more weeks and have time to think over an upgrade.
Could u please post in details how you upgrade with 7200 drives? Mostly I'm interested in Vista installation on new drives ater.
