    Hi,

I have a Toshiba M105-S3002 with XP Pro and about a month ago it wouldn't have any sound at all. All my sound settings are good, nothing ANYWHERE muted, everything looks good in the Device Mgr, so I tried to do a Sys Restore to the day before and it came back on. Since then, about every 3rd or 4th time I reboot... no sound. I have since been going about this routine but I lose apps I recently installed or configured.

VERY frustrating. Also, I have done virus scans, malware scans, etc.

Does anyone have any ideas on what this could indicate?

    Thanks in advance!

    David
