I just got my new X305-Q701, so far, love the thing ( my old Toshiba laptop held up over three years of abuse till I finally killed it, RIP ). But went to try to use the bridge media adapter and popped an SD card in the thing and tried to find some way to read the thing, and came up with nothing.

Can someone fill me in on this?

    Thanks---------Robert

Just pop it in there and it should work with Autoplay. Did you make sure you inserted it in properly? I think it's spring-loaded

Yes, it went all the way in until it locked, but nothing happened, and I was unable to locate the thing anywhere on the computer.

Well, just for giggles, I tried it again and it worked. Go figure
THe first time I tried, the card was completely full and the computer was having issues trying to read the thing even off the camera and I thought it was the new Kodak software version I installed since it worked with the older version on my other computer to upload the pictures, then once I cleared the card to where there was only a few dozen pictures on it, the new software worked on this thing, and it looks like the card reader wants to play nice now as well :D This time I popped it in and the option window opened right up and I was able to upload right into the kodak program.

Now to find some more goodies to figure out on this thing :D

    Thanks----------Robert
