    Hi,

I have a satelitte L300-16L and it will only boot into Safe Mode so need to reinstall VISTA  . Unfortunately no recovery discs where created when the laptop was purchased :( . Can I do a factory Restore from the DATA and WINRE partitions that are on the Hard Disc without the recovery discs?

Is there the Recover Your Computer option in the advanced boot screen if not try hitting F9 when loading and i't should get you to the Recovery Wizard from where you can restore your VISTA from the recovery partition!

Hi, I tried F9 on boot up but nothing happened. I'm wondering if I can extract the disc image in the DATA partition onto a DVD and then run the install from the WINRE partition in a CMD prompt?
