    Remove bios update?

    How do I remove a bios update?
    I installed it on my Qosmio X300 and now it says i have 2.99Gig instead of 3gig,my lights wont switch on anymore,my remote doesn't seem to be working so please help me guys

    Hi.

    You cannot remove a bios, you either have to flash to a new version or see if you can flash back to your original one if you can as the updater might only accept a newer dated bios

    there are ways to force a flash, but you will need the bios, you could try and contact Toshiba, but i would wait and see if anybody else can help more!

    I can only find 2 bios`s for the Qosmio X300

    1.30-WIN32 and 1.30-WIN64

    Or maybe it is something else and i just think it is the bios.. What driver do i need to make the lights work?
    Question sounds stupid i know but iv ran out of ideas.

    I've flashed to the 1.3 bios everything fine on my x305. don't know if this helps but just fyi.

    Ok so you lights still switch on, didnt you have to re enable it some where?

    yeah mines work fine. Maybe you already know about it but you can turn the lights on and off with the multimedia buttons above the keyboard. The one between the sound and camera buttons. Don't know if that helps.

    I do press those but it dont work.. Ok thanks for the help man ill wait fr the next bios update.

    maybe you downloaded the wrong bios update for the x300. i know there were 2 and the model numbers are almost the same.
