Can any of you guys help me out and give me some tips on removing toshiba bloatware? I have a few features that I want to remove, but they don't show up on the add or remove programs menu.

    Please help.

The best method? Format your computer and reinstall the OS without any of the software.

If you can't do that or do not have the time, then removing software one at a time is a method, using Add/Remove programs. Then follow up with a Disk Defrag, Disk Cleanup, and a registry cleaner, such as CCleaner, a free piece of software.

The second method is not that great at all. It's at least one way to quicken things up a bit, and save a lot of space.

How can I format and reinstall the OS without the bloatware? The unit only came with the recovery disk and I know all of that crap is on there too.

I'm interested in hearing the answer to that also. Usually recovery disks restore it to the condition that you bought it (ie with all the bloatware)
