So, just registered, and so far I am impressed with this community, very helpful.
I'm pretty new to laptops and I am trying to get mine to perform at top peak.

So I started to remove the bloatware that is included on my machine.

    I referred to this topic:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/toshiba/213186-removing-bloatware-toshiba-u305.html

And now I was wondering what else I can remove.

Here is what I'm not sure whether to remove or not:

    MyToshiba
Toshiba Application and Driver Installer (probably shouldn't remove?)
    TOSHIBA Assist
    TOSHIBA eco Utility
    TOSHIBA Hardware Setup
    TOSHIBA HDD/SSD Alert
    Toshiba Online Backup
    TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor
    Toshiba Quality Appication
    TOSHIBA Recovery Media Creator
    TOSHIBA Service Station
    TOSHIBA Supervisor Password
    TOSHIBA Value Added Package
    ToshibaRegistration

I have never used any of these programs, directly, but that doesn't mean i can remove them.

Also wondering, when I got my laptop, I didn't make recovery disks (i know, stupid) and I didn't get anything from the manufacturer, is there anyway to get a Windows 7 Disc, I have my OEM key.

Unless you deleted the recovery partition on the hard drive you can still make recovery discs. Install TOSHIBA Recovery Media Creator & make your recovery disks. Without them I would not advise trying to do much else, because if you get into trouble you won't have the ability to return your laptop to the "out of the box" state.

Ideally you want to do a clean install & then only install what you need / want. You need to back up your activation information (I use Windows 7 Activation Backup Recipester, Google it), & obtain a Win7 installation disk. Also, there are all the drivers in a store folder on the hard drive whish you need to back up. Have a look at my post here for details.

I'll add my recommendation as to making those recovery DVDs. But to better answer your question regarding all the Toshiba specific applets....

I had the same question with my recently purchased U500, so I looked at what each applet actually did. Mostly, they duplicate other Windows tools, with a new pretty face. Other than Bluetooth, one by one, I started stopping them from autoloading at startup (used MS-Sysinternals' Autoruns). But, I didn't uninstall them from my hard drive. They take up little space and can be run from the StartMenu if need be. The only applet I find useful (and I run it manually) is the Service Center.

Speaking for myself, I am a traditional StartMenu fan. If you are also, I highly recommend 'Classic Start Menu', a freeware tool. I organize my StartMenu rather than leave a mess directly under the Programs folder. I rounded up all those Toshiba StartMenu shortcuts into one folder at put that folder where I can easily find it, but it is not constantly in my face.
