I'm contemplating the best way to remove all the useless little programs that came pre-loaded on my Toshiba laptop.
Which of these should I remove?
Atheros Driver Installation Program
Atheros Wi-Fi Protected Setup Library
ATI Catalyst Install Manager
Bluetooth STack for Windows by Toshiba
Camera Assistant Software for Toshiba
Catalyst Control Center - Branding
Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system
Conexant HD Audio
FM Tuner Utility
Marvell Miniport Drive
Memeo AutoBackup
Microsoft Office Suite Activation ASsistant
Microsoft Works
Toshiba Extended Tiles for Windows Mobility Center
Toshiba Face Recognition
Toshiba Hardware Setup
Toshiba Registration
Toshiba Software Upgrades
Toshiba Speech System Application
Toshiba Speech System SR Engine(U.S.) Version1.0
Toshiba Speech System TTS Engine(U.S.) Version1.0
Toshiba Supervisor Password
Toshiba Value Added Package
Thanks in advance.![]()

borrow a Vista install disc ffrom a friend and do a clean install. I never got my machine working well, even removing all bloatware...but a fresh Microsoft install really helped, although XP still is a good bit quicker.
don't know if they fixed it, but when I got my Sli3 last year, if you uninstall Picassa, the CDRom STOPS working. -
You can probably remove the Compatibility pack for office 2007, FM Tuner Utility (if u don't listen to FM Radio on ur comp), Memeo Auto Backup, Office Suite Activation, Works, Toshiba Hardware, Software upgrades, REgistration, Speech System application and all the stuff with it (if u dont' use speech to txt), supervisor password, and value added package.
Other stuff are pretty much required to run all the hardware in your computer. -
Thanks for the help!

Careful about the Value added package... It controls all the hotkeys and the buttons. So if that comes off not everything works correctly (button wise), but on the flipside the PC runs faster
