I have a Toshiba Satellite U305-S5127 and it crashed...now when I try to restore it via the 2 disks I get nothing. It still tries to load Vista.

Any one have an idea of what I can do????

    Thanks!

You have to go into the Bios and set the boot order/sequence for the cd/dvd rom first.
    That is probably your problem

    It's not the "C" key, it's the F12 key.

    I tried that. I changed the order...still didn't work.

I even excluded the HD from the boot sequence but that didn't work either.

I did that as well, it says "Hit any key to boot from DVD/CD..."

    But that doesn't work either.

Maybe your disc's are bad or your dvd/cd rom is bad.
