This is a review that I did back over on Overclock.net a while back. Been trying to find it for a while.I've started a fair number of threads over there and I'm fairly active (points to post count), so you can understand how it took me a month for find it.

- 8GB G.Skill (2x4GB) DDR3 1066
- 1.5GB GTX 460M - Overclocked @ 750/1500/3200 ( Vantage GPU score: 8528)

- 18.4" Glossy LED Screen @ 1680x945
-Thermal Paste replaced with IC7 + mesh vent covers removed.
-Swapped out regular keyboard and installed a backlit one from Ebay.
And I'll be making an ending review of the machine as I part from the Qosmio line with an honest yet sad smile, I'm going to cry when I part with this thing. Things have come up and I am forced to find a buyer. Thankfully a friend of mine is more than willing to purchase it from me in about a month. Can't get much better for $600.
This machine was amazing. It still is. But nonetheless, here's the review in all it's glory!

Hey, buddy, how you did this? I have a Toshiba Qosmio X505 Q892 too and I really want a Backlit keyboard but I was afraid it was impossible! How can I make it possible? ;P
Thanks and nice review! -
They make keyboards for the Q892 and I just had to search around on ebay to find one. There's a little connector that's unused on the motherboard, right next to the connector for the keyboard itself.
