Hi all - sorry if this post is redundant...

I want to upgrade my S2112 memory... MemoryX shows that I have four slots with three available and one with 512MB... Is this true? Am I able to put four sticks in my laptop? If so, what is the maximum??

Toshiba Direct says 1280 is the max since there is built in 256 ... has anyone been able to determine if there are actually four slots and tried to fill them with, say, 2056?

    TIA

Try the scanner at Crucial, I'd be amazed if there are really 4 slots.

    Thanks Brian!

Crucial shows that I have one slot with a maximum of 1536 which is 256 more than Toshiba lists on their website. Does that mean that there is actually 512 built in?

I guess it doesn't matter since I can only add a single 1024 stick... guess I should just do it and find out!
