S7438 Windows XP Drivers Needed Argh!

Hey Guys,

I purchased this nice shiney and new Toshiba P205D-S7438 laptop, everything is great, bar Windows Vista which I do not want. So installed Windows XP and just assumed that the drivers were on the Toshiba website. Nope, just Vista drivers for this laptop . No big deal, just search around and pick them up elsewhere? Problem is, I am having trouble with that too. XP installs without a problem, but the ATI X1200M graphics card is a real pain, even standard ATI drivers don't do the job.

Anyone else having the same problem? Any idea's before I take her back to the store?

Glad to hear I was not the alone in the struggle to acquire drivers for this laptop. Shouldbe - where did you get the other drivers besides the ATI driver? And were you successful with the ATI driver installation? Thanks for your input...

 

I too am very interested in locating the other drivers and knowing if the ATI driver issues were resolved. Thxs.

 

I would love to know if you guys found XP Drivers for this laptop because I did the same thing. Please let me know.
