    Hello,

Has anyone with a Portege R500 with Win XP been able to get an SDHC SD cards to work in the SD card reader? Manual says it supports SDHC and I have tried several, but it does not work.

I have read online where people tried to fix this by updating XP with service pack 3 and updating the SD card drivers, but I have not seen anyone report back that it was successful.

Anyone know the fix for this?

    Thanks very much,
    David

does the SDHC work on other computers? It may be a problem with the card itself. And regardless, you should update your drivers (card reader included).

SDHC works fine for my R500 + XP.

XP has a patch for supporting SDHC as well as the right hardware driver. This may be included in XP SP3.
