Is it possible to install a SSD drive into HDD Hard Drive Caddy ?

I plan to remove my DVD-drive and install a SSD into a caddy and put it my R835 (and boot from SSD). Is there any one who have done this ?

You can do it no problem. The computer will recognize it and you can certainly boot from it. The only issue is the sata connection from the DVD-rom drive on "most laptops" is slower than the normal connection you would use for the hard drives. What I would recommend, and have done, would be to put the SSD in the normal hard drive spot and run your extra drive from the hard drive caddy. I have a 80gb SSD as my main a 1tb in the other slot and another 1tb in my optical caddy.
