    I want notebook with 512 Mb RAM, 128 Mb video memory and DVD burner. Is Satellite A30 921 good buy?

    No, the A30 is not a good buy, especially if you want 128MB of video memory. There's not a lot of Toshiba notebooks that have 128MB of video memory. Also, the A30 is a discontinued model and is no longer listed on the Toshiba site.

    If you're looking for a unit with 128MB of video memory (dedicated, not shared), you're gonna have to customize a unit, M30x or a different unit. Any units with an Intel or ATI IGP garphics chip means it's shared video memory (takes from system memory and converts to video memory). The more video memory you have in this system type, the less system ram you have for programs.
