    Does anyone know if this machine gets very hot?

    What kind of CPU does it have?
    Usually AMD produce more heat than Intel, and the faster the clock speed the more the heat.
    You can reduce the heat dramatically if you undervolt the cpu using RMCLock.

    It has an Intel T7500 chip with a clockspeed of 2.2GHz and an ATI Radeon HD2600 graphics card with 256 Mb dedicated memory.
