I currently have a 40gb hdd and I would like to upgrade since the size of the hdd is the only issue I currently have with my laptop.

What size hdd do I need? Can I get a 7200 rpm or do I need to stay at 5400 because of heat/power issues? Is there a maximum size hdd that I should not reach?

    Thanks.

    Eric

Any 2.5 inch, EIDE notebook hard drive will work. Check some out here.

Just make sure that the connectors are the same, then you should be good.

How would I know if the connections are right? How do I determine what type of connections my hdd has?

Would a 7200 be worth the extra $40?
