I have had a Satellite A200 since last spring. I have Vista Premium. The whole time I have experienced problems with the sleep and hibernate function. Whenever I have the laptop sleep or hibernate, then wake it back up, I have a number of problems:
1. My bluetooth radio hardware is not recognized to exist. The software that came for the radio reads "Device Address: 00:00:00:00:00:00" under its options.
2. My external media buttons do not work at all.
3. Certain programs (namely iTunes) do not work. Under Task Manager an iTunes program shows up under "Processes," but not under "Applications" when I try to start it.
4. Occasionally the computer says that there is no sound card, so the sound doesn't work.
5. Occasionally the computer says that one of the USB ports is not working.
6. I have to shut down the computer by a hard shut down (hold down the power button for 5 seconds). If I try to shut down through the start menu, the computer will shut down to the point that it reads "Shutting down..." Then it sits there until I do a hard shut down.
I recently reinstalled Vista with the Toshiba recovery discs that came with the computer. The sleep and hibernate function worked for about 36 hours, then I began encountering the same problems.
Any suggestions?

I got my lappy in October and Hibernate works but Sleep has never worked for me. :/
