    Satellite A205-S7458: I can't play games

    My boyfriend bought a Sattelite A205-S7458 in US, and after a few weeks trying to like Vista he decided to downgrade to XP, because the games he likes didn't work on Vista.
    After spending several days trying to find the right drivers, we finnaly managed to install everything, with no yellow marks in Device Manager.

    But the games still don't work properly.

    Mu Online is hanging when meeting other players, Lineage 2 works in frames, and which is worse, I see window trails on the screen although there is not much CPU usage.

    Any idea what could be the problem and how to fix this?

    What graphics card do you have? Maybe it's not good enough to play that.

    The X3100 integrated GPU is not made for games and will give you very poor results. Switch all graphical settings to low and if that doesn't work, sorry, that game will not run.

    Both Lineage 2 and Mu Online are 5 year old games, so they shouldn't be a problem for this graphics card. It's not a very good card, but it has over 300Mb RAM so it should work with a 5 year old game.

    Have you tried switching your settings to all low as Lithus suggested?
