This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Satellite A215 Series - The middle access panel?

    Does anybody know what the middle access panel on the bottom of the A215 series is for? On my A215-4747 I opened it up and there's nothing there but blank PCB and wasted space. I noticed on my device menu under Vista there's an empty "PCI Express standard Root Port." Is there a mini interface in there?
