I know that there have been a lot of problems with Toshiba laptops and power issues. I'm hoping someone could answer my question or at least point me in the direction of a post that has an answer.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A25-S2792 that won't boot or turn on at all.

    Here's what happens:

With the battery in and the AC adapter plugged in, the AC power light on the system indicator panel flashes amber.

When I press the power button the AC power light flashes green 'once' and the battery light flashes amber 'once'.

With the battery out and the AC adapter plugged in, the AC power light functions the same way.

With the battery in and the AC adapter 'not' plugged in, there are no lights showing on the system indicator panel even when pressing the power button.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
