    Okay so theres this really weird problem ive been having with noise that has been coming from around the hinge area of the satellite a300.
    Every time i would open the lid, there would be a high pitched noise coming from around the hinge area of the laptop. But all i had to do to stop it was tap the hinge a bit lightly with my finger and the noise would stop. Now if i even push a little on the hinge a bit the noise would come back and i would have to tap it again to stop. It is such a weird problem i dont know what could be causing it? And the noise isnt soft either, its really quite loud, a high pitched whine really.

    Can't say I've ever had the same problem with my A300. Does it happen when on battery or charging?
