This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Satellite A300-16I good buy?

    15,4 inch
    802.11a/b/g/n
    SO-DIMM DDR2-667
    320 GB @ 5400 rpm

    I will use this laptop for school and for occasional gaming (counter strike similar games, not the latest games)

    The processor and gpu looks good (T8100 & HD3650)
    but the harddisk is only 5400 rpm

    I don't know if this is a good buy or not..
