Co-worker has this laptop and the hard drive is bad.I have a couple questions maybe you guys can answer.

    (1) Can I put any Sata drive in it or does it need to the the same as the bad one.
    (2) Since the hard drive had the recovery on it and it can't be used now,how do I go about getting back to factory condition. Can I just call Toshiba and pay for the disks? I have the key for Win 7 home Premium on the bottom of it.

Found out any Sata drive will work and that I need to contact Tech support for restore disk. Was told there wasn't a charge for the disk/usb,but was a shipping charge.Better than buying a retail version I guess.

The System Discs still cost about $20 - $30 [one heck of a S&H fee].
