    Satellite C75D-B7300 ram upgradable?

    So I've had this laptop for a while. And I always had the mindset that you can't upgrade laptops. Till I found out that you can upgrade this laptop from 6gb to 16gb. Is this true? Has anyone ever tried on this laptop? Unfortunately this is not the model where there's a panel just for the memory and I've never taken a part a laptop. So that means I have to remove the whole thing.

    Looks like you have to remove the whole base plastic to replace the RAM modules, as seen from this video:

    But at least you now know it can support 16GB RAM (2 x 8GB).

    Simply remove all the screws of the base and use a flathead screwdriver to pry the base out of the chassis, not that hard to do.
