My mother might buy it for herself, light tasks. Any reason to not buy it?

It a basic laptop which is perfect for your mother.
Good for internet, video chat, music, movie.
It is the cheaped out budget end of Toshiba's A300.
Not like she is gonna be playing Crysis.
Looks a little plain but I used to all the gloss.
How much in USD are you paying for it.
Shouldn't be over around $600 before tax -
It's $737 with local VAT.
Don't forget that notebooks here are more expensive.
Perhaps it's not the cheapest notebook here, some lower end HP and Fujitsu are, but it is on the lower end.
I just wish if she gets it that it will last long and it doesn't have any issues since she doesn't exactly have good relations with computers.
She/I haven't made up my mind yet, but this looks like a very possible one.

Hi. I think they're a bit cheaper here. (I'm in B.C.) The L300 - 08R is $549 at Future Shop this week.
Satellite L300 - any negative thoughts?
