I have a Toshiba Satellite M150. A few days ago, the screen went black. The blue light is on indicating the system is running, I can hear the fan going, but again, the screen is black and it's making a beeping sound. Have my worse fears of a hard drive crash come to pass?:(

Will the screen show the bios screen on bootup
Beeping sounds are not usually related to a bad hard drive it could be ram issues
If you have 2 ram sticks try removing and changing out to see if you can boot
