Hi, I just got my new Satellite and when I use it the screen occasionally shows magenta and cyan pixels all over the screen. However, If I move the laptop they go away. Could this be "connected" to a non-properly connected cable? Please help me!

If these don't go away I would say dead/bad pixels, but if they do go away I am guessing a wiring problem. It could be anything from a bad screen cable to something shorting out in the display itself. If you just bought the thing, return it for a refund and get a brand new one.

I agree with own6volvos, this sounds like something is getting shorted to cause this problem. I'd get it replaced or repaired (depends when you got the unit).
