    Satellite M35x-S161 Screen Dimming

    The screen on my M35x-S161 dims when I don't have have it plugged into the AC adapter. It's not like my Mac where the screen dims when I don't use it for a minute or so. It's always like this, unless I plug it in.

    This is obviously a drawback with a laptap, ha.

    Any advice?

    Try replacing the powerboard inverter for the screen which is located behind the screen bezel below the screen; I had the dimming problem bought a new inverter from ebay and fixed it.
