I have a satellite M40 with Geforce Go 6600 and can't seem to get the video card working right.

I've unistalled the old drivers and downloaded and installed new drivers from Toshiba website and done the same with the latest XP 32bit drivers from laptopvideo2go.com with the modded .inf files and it still isnt working right.

The device status says "The device cannot start" using either driver.

I have my laptop screen disconnected from the notebook because the screen doesnt work and am displaying on a 19" acer monitor.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Could there be something wrong with the card itself? Maybe whatever wrecked the screen has wrecked the card too??
