I have an opportunity to pick up a Toshiba Satellite M40X (model: PSM4XC-RH400E) for a really good price and am wondering if anyone can shed any light on this particular model. I haven't been able to find any reviews online... is it a decent laptop (for it's price) or should I just pass on the opportunity?

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    not actually~
I just bought a Toshiba Satellite about 6 moths ago~
it did not show anything about 2 months ago~
and I wait about 1 month to get it fixed~
And now, I think it has Audio problem~
because I could hardly hear anything~

The Toshiba Satellite is not good any more~
I bought another Toshiba Satellite in 2002,
it was good, not any problems~

Another main problem of the Toshiba Satellite is its CPU,
do not forget that the Toshiba Satellite is always use the desktop CUP in the notebook computer~
The noise of CPU is horrible~

The one you owned had a Desktop processor, the M40 line is either a Celeron M or a Pentium M, both engineered to be mobile processors
