Hi All,
i recently upgraded the bios on my toshiba laptop i lost power, when i went
to re-strart it, the monitor stayed black, the only thing that works
now is the fan, i dont think a recovery disc will work, does this mean i will need to replace the Motherboard???

I suggest you contact Toshiba support. It may be possible for a specialist to replace the BIOS, but if it is fixed on the board then a dead BIOS means a board replacement.

How does it lose power?
I mean its got a battery right? Even if the AC Went out it should still have been running. Or...did you run the BIOS upgrade when the battery was low and it wasnt plugged im -
Didn't read the warning instructions did you?
Only way to get it fixed is to call Toshiba and tell them the situation
