Ok first off I am new here and hoping you smart guys and girls can advise me on what to do here...

I bought this laptop new about 1.5 years ago, its a intel core duo 2.0 2gig ram with a nvidia 7800gs mobile card.

So I use it for gaming mostly and just recently I stopped gaming and now wanted to start to play again but I installed WoW and go to run it and it running like complete crap. I used to run it on highet settings with no issues, now I can't even move.

Then I try playing a movie clip and its super lagging and if I even attemp full screen I get nothing.... won't barely play. Did myvideo chip die? I can still run the computer normal just anytime I need to use video power there is nothing there.

    Any help?

Have you tried updating your video card driver?
Maybe it might be a good time to do a factory restore.

Have you tried cleaning out your vents? These P100s get fairly dusty. Another thing, have you upgraded your BIOS to the latest version? (v4.30)
